Postpartum Support
Recovery, pumping and adjusting to motherhood - support for you, not just the baby.
Postpartum supportThe most common thing I hear
“I wish someone had prepared me for this.”
Before becoming a mom, many women imagine breastfeeding will come naturally. After all, it’s natural… right?
And while breastfeeding is natural, that doesn’t mean it always comes naturally.
Breastfeeding preparation starts before birth.
Not after.
Many women spend months preparing for labor.
But no time preparing for breastfeeding.
Then the baby arrives.
Everyone assumes it will just happen.
And when challenges appear, mothers often blame themselves.
The problem isn’t you.
The problem is that nobody prepared you.
Whether you’re planning a natural birth, an epidural, an induction, a planned cesarean, or a twin birth - feeding begins shortly after birth, however your baby arrives.
Prepare before baby arrives.
Four things to have in place before you meet your baby.
How breastfeeding actually works · Understanding milk production · Colostrum and why it matters
What to expect during the first hours · The Golden Hour
After a vaginal birth · After a cesarean birth · Breastfeeding twins
Common myths and misconceptions · Preparing your partner · Colostrum harvesting · Creating a breastfeeding plan
Because learning these things at 36 weeks is much easier than trying to learn them while holding a hungry newborn.
And that’s when the real questions start.
These arrive at 3am, one after another.
Not in a clinic. Not during office hours. In the dark, while feeding, while exhausted, while wondering whether any of it is normal.
If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these, you’re not alone.
Private one-to-one guidance, for whatever is actually happening - not a general class.
Find yours below.
Fifteen of the most common reasons women reach out. If yours isn’t listed, it still counts.
Sometimes all you need is reassurance.
Sometimes you need a plan.
And sometimes you simply need someone to look at what’s happening and tell you it’s normal.
All breastfeeding support is provided privately and tailored to your situation, goals and challenges. Whether you want to exclusively breastfeed, exclusively pump, combine feeding methods, or simply understand your options - our goal is to support you, not judge you.
Home visits are provided by our trained midwifery team rather than by Gabriella personally. Every midwife on the team has been personally trained to provide breastfeeding support aligned with the Elite Midwifery approach.

Gabriella was an incredible support for my breastfeeding journey. I was facing many challenges and felt overwhelmed, but she helped me every step of the way. She was quick to respond, and answered all my questions with patience, kindness, and clear guidance. Her support gave me confidence and made a difficult experience much easier to manage. I’m truly grateful for her care.💞
I took labour preparation and breastfeeding courses with Gabriella and they helped me have a smoother birthing experience and take well informed decisons. It's key for every pregnant woman to be well prepared and have all the information that she might need. Gabriella was very keen on following up with me after birth and she saved my breastfeeding journey! Sometimes a small problem could be in your way and having a professional like Gabriella by your side can make a huge difference. Thank you ❤️
Gabriella was truly a gift during my pregnancy and breastfeeding journey ! From the start, she surrounded me with calm, reassurance, and genuine compassion. She believed in me even when I doubted myself, and her constant support gave me so much strength and confidence🙌 The breathing exercises she patiently taught me changed everything — they helped me stay calm and focused, and thanks to her guidance, my delivery was incredibly fast at just 30 minutes! I will never forget how safe, supported, and empowered she made me feel during one of the most important moments of my life🩷 I am endlessly grateful for Gabriella’s care, kindness, and dedication, and I recommend her with my whole heart🩷🩷🩷🩷
No matter how much I try to say, I feel like my words will never be enough to give you the credit you truly deserve, Gabriella. You are such a kind and supportive person. You were with me throughout my entire pregnancy journey, during labor, and even after delivery with breastfeeding support.I never once regretted taking the sessions with you. They helped me so much and made me understand so many important things. Especially during labor, I went in feeling aware, prepared, and confident — particularly about the pain and how to manage it. A huge thank you for being by my side every step of the way 🤍
Although I had a little experience in anything related to babies, I needed support and more knowledge to start my journey as a new mom. Gabriella was my support and source of guidance especially in my pumping journey, which was a bit complicated at the beginning. She literally supported me in every single detail and never failed to be there for me whenever I reached out to her although I live abroad. She was always there, offering me assistance in breastfeeding, pumping, prenatal care, and answering all my questions. The passion I felt in her work made me choose her to be the one helping me through it all. “Thank you” will never be enough.
As a new mom, i needed support especially in my pumping journey. Gabriella has been my greatest source of guidance and encouragement. She supported me through every postpartum challenge and whenever I reached out to her, she was always there to offer advice and assistance. I highly recommend Gabriella to every pregnant and breastfeeding/pumping mother. Her passion for her work truly makes all the difference. Thank you, Gabriella for always being there!
I saw Gabriella yesterday because my baby was struggling to latch properly and was starting to prefer the bottle. I was also really worried because my milk supply was dropping and needed help with a proper pumping schedule and method. Gabriella was very supportive and gave me clear guidance and tips to start right away. I already see a difference today. My baby is latching better and has not needed the bottle today. Also, I was able to pump 220ml in one go (compared to barely getting to 90!) I highly recommend Gabriella to any breastfeeding mother ❤️
I had the pleasure of taking 12 sessions with Gabriella on pregnancy, labor, and breastfeeding, and I can’t recommend her enough! Each session was incredibly informative, giving me the confidence and knowledge I needed to feel fully prepared for labor. When it came to breastfeeding, I faced some challenges in the beginning, but Gabriella was there to support me every step of the way. Thanks to her expertise and guidance, I was able to overcome the difficulties and establish a smooth breastfeeding journey. Her dedication, patience, and deep knowledge made all the difference. If you’re looking for a compassionate and skilled midwife, I highly recommend her!
